Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE]. These terms are between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Better B”, “we”), which runs the Better B Grub app and getbetterb.com.

1. What we are

Better B Grub is a marketplace. Independent home cooks sell meals and independent drivers deliver them. We aren’t a restaurant, food maker or delivery company, and cooks and drivers aren’t our employees or agents.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. Keep your login private. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law, or put others at risk.

3. Buyers

Meals are made in home kitchens that are not inspected like restaurants. Read each listing’s ingredients and allergen information. Ask the cook if you’re unsure. Payment is taken when you order. See the Refund Policy.

4. Cooks

You are responsible for following Arizona home-food law (including any registration and food handler card), local rules, labeling, food safety, and your own taxes. You set your prices and keep 100% of food sales and tips, minus any fees shown in the app.

5. Drivers

You need a valid license, insurance and a safe vehicle. You set your rate and choose which jobs to take. You’re responsible for your own taxes, vehicle and insurance.

6. Payments and memberships

Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s terms. Memberships renew monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time in the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice.

7. AI helper and tax tools

The AI helper, earnings summaries and tax estimates are general information. They can be wrong, and they are not tax, legal or financial advice.

8. Prohibited conduct

No illegal, unsafe or mislabeled food, no fraud, harassment or misuse of the app, and no getting around the app’s payments.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Better B isn’t liable for indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [ATTORNEY TO COMPLETE]
